Here's some Frequently Asked Questions concerning faith.
- What is faith? Faith is belief in, trust in, and confidence in God,
in His word, and in His Son, Jesus.
- Who has faith? The believer in the Lord Jesus Christ: For I say,
through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to
think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly,
according as God has dealt to every man the measure of faith. Rom 12:3 (KJV)
Note: every man refers to every man among you - the saints (believers).
- Doesn't everyone have faith? And pray that we may be delivered from
wicked and evil men, for not everyone has faith. 2 Thes 3:2 (NIV)
- How do I get faith? So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by

- What is the good fight of faith? Flee from sin, pursue
righteousness, fight the good fight of faith, take hold of eternal life,

- How come faith didn't work for me? Did you walk in love and

him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things

- By faith we understand.
Through faith we understand that that the worlds were framed by the word of
God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

- Faith brings victory.

It is written, "I believed, therefore I have spoken." With that
same spirit of faith we also believe and therefore speak, because we know
that the one who raised the Lord Jesus form the dead will also raise us with

- There is a gift of faith from the Holy Spirit
Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common

Here are some common misconceptions about faith - Faith Fallacies.
- Faith only works for ministers
From God's Word, we see that faith worked for a Roman soldier, a Samaritan
woman, a blind man, a blind beggar, and many other ordinary people.
- Faith doesn't work for me
Faith works by love. Is love absent in your life. Through faith and patience
we inherit the promises. Are you exercising patience?
- You never know what God will do
You always know what God will do. That's why He gave us His Word. Not a
single promise of God has ever failed.
- God understands my limitations, weakness, etc.
Yes God understands. That's why He sent His Son, Jesus. The Son of God has
set us free from all of those limitations and weaknesses - BY FAITH.
- It must not be God's will
Well, find out what God's will is. It's in His Word. God's will is for you
to be saved, healed, prosperous, righteous, blessed.
- We don't need faith, we have modern medicine
Modern medicine is a blessing that has helped many people. But it's limited.
But God is not limited. There is nothing impossible for God, and all things
are possible for those who believe.
- Well, I try to live a good life
That's good. It mean's living a good life is important to you. So go another
step and not only try, but live a good, holy, and righteous life. Not in you
own power, but in the power of a resurrected life in Christ [the Anointed
One]. Jesus became sin for us, so that we might become the righteousness of
God in Christ.
