Effective Ministry

When Jesus left the earth and returned to heaven, He commissioned the church to carry out His mission until He returned. Jesus had prepared the first disciples, but had them  wait until they received the Holy Spirit, which gave them power to be His witnesses.

Effective Ministry through the Gifts of the Holy Spirit

Every follower of Christ is called to be His witness. Each one of us has a ministry to fulfill. We may not be a pastor, evangelist, or teacher, but we still must minister to those around us. To minister effectively, we need to use the gifts the Holy Spirit gives to us. These gifts allow us to minister in God's ability and power, not in our own

The seminar consists of teaching sessions, discussions, and small group projects and case studies. Following Paul's admonition to believers to "put into practice" what we see in the lives of others, the small group interactions allow attendees to learn from others.

Each person will receive a workbook to use during the seminar. The workbook will also be a handy reference tool and study guide once the seminar is over.
